About the Airport

Commonly referred to as Orly, the international airport is located 13 kilometres south of Paris. The complex is situated partially in Villeneuve-le-Roi and partially in Orly. Before the opening of Charles de Gaulle Airport in 1974, Paris Orly Airport was the main airport of the French capital.

Paris Orly Airport is the busiest airport in France in terms of domestic traffic. The complex is also the second busiest airport in passenger traffic.

Opened it 1932, the airport was formerly known as Villeneuve-Orly Airport. Used for military service during the Second World War, the airport has been renovated and new terminals were built over the years. Currently, the complex consists of four terminals and received more than 30 million passengers in the year 2018.

Transport from Paris Orly Airport to the City Center

There are several transportation options that you can take to reach the city center.

Taxi

Taxis are located right outside the exit terminals and offer the quickest ride to the city. The trip takes around 30 minutes and costs about 40€.

Train

The most used transportation option that you can take to get to central Paris is by trains. As there are no direct railways to the center of Paris, you will need to get on Orlyval Metro first; then you can transfer to RER B or RER C trains at Anthony Train Station. The complete journey costs around 13 € and the rides are quite comfortable. The tickets can be obtained on the stations.

Bus

Orlybus tickets cost 8.30 € and the bus takes you directly to downtown Paris in 45 minutes. You can also take the public bus which costs 2 € but stops frequently in each stop, resulting in a longer trip.

The connection between the city center and Paris Orly Airport is also served by other buses throughout the night. The transportation is available 24/7.

Public Transport

The efficient and affordable transportation system of Paris is composed by taxi, buses, metro and railway. The public transportation network is operated by RATP.

The airport was started serving in 1998, the second International Terminal was opened in 2005, and the domestic terminal was operational in 2010. Antalya Airport was selected as the Best Airport among European Airports by Airports Council International (ACI) in 2011. It has a capacity of 35 million passengers annually.  

Transport from Antalya Airport to the City Center

The usual public transportation is provided through shuttles and busses. The shuttle called HAVAS connects the airport to the city. The route follows: Erasta Mall, Antalya Bus Station, Akdeniz University, Kemer Bus Stop, and 5M Migros Mall.  

The bus number 600 connects the airport to Antalya bus terminal, as well. The bus follows the given route: Antalya Airport, Serik Street, Aspendos Boulevard, Topcular, Mevlana Avenue, City center, Markantalya Shopping Center, 100. yıl Avenue, Tarık Akıltopu Street (Hospital), Meltem Boulevard, Akdeniz University, Antalya Courthouse, and finally Antalya Bus Station. The bus number 800 links the airport with the Lara district. The bus number 400 goes to the Sarisu region.   Taxis and car rental services provide faster and more comfortable transportation. Public Transport

In Antalya, transportation is composed of buses, mini-buses, trams, and taxis. The light railway system includes two lines: The nostalgic tram connects Museum to Zerdalilik, and the modern tram links Fatih to Meydan stations. AntalyaKart is the smart card that is used for public transportation.
