Children who have not reached the age of 3 (0-24 months) on the first day of their journey are accepted as infant passengers. Infants and mothers are not allowed to fly within 48 hours of birth, even with a doctor's report. It is recommended that mothers and infants travelling over 48 hours but less than 7 days after the birth obtain a doctor's report stating that there is no reason for them not to travel by air. In accordance with in-flight safety rules, each adult can only accompany one infant. The rules for infant passengers aged between 8 days and 3 years are as follows:

-They can travel with a parent or authorised person over 18 years old.

-They will be charged child fares.

-They cannot be handed to cabin crew for care.

Rules for child passengers aged between 3 and 7 years are as follows:

-They cannot travel alone.

-They can travel with a parent or authorised person over 18 years of age.

-They cannot be handed to cabin crew for care.

-Child fares/discounts are applicable (except on promotional prices).

Rules for child passengers aged between 7 and 13 years are as follows:

-They can travel alone in line with the Unaccompanied Child Procedure.

-Child fares/discounts are applicable (except on promotional prices).

-They cannot travel on connecting flights.

Service providers at each airport are responsible for the provision of assistance and equipment to help passengers with reduced mobility that need special assistance (such as a wheelchair) for the journey between the aircraft and the airport concourse. You must notify us of your assistance request at least 48 hours before the flight departure so that we can pass on your request to the airport service provider and ensure that you receive the most appropriate help possible.

Hearing- or visually-impaired passengers can fly without a companion. Visually-impaired passengers can also travel with their guide dogs. These types of passengers can bring their guide dogs into the cabin free of charge. Once information about the passenger's particular condition has been given on the PNR, details about their dog should be provided. To do this, you need to make a request by contacting our Call Centre. If a passenger is both hearing- and visually-impaired, they are not permitted to travel without a companion. Passengers travelling during pregnancy must provide a health report in order to travel with Pegasus Airlines. Of course, regardless of whether you need to provide us with a health report or not, we recommend that any of our passengers travelling during pregnancy first of all seek advice from a specialist doctor. However, Pegasus Airlines does not allow those expecting a single birth who are over 36 weeks into their pregnancy to travel. For this reason, outbound and inbound journeys must be completed before the end of the 36th week of pregnancy. Pegasus Airlines does not allow those expecting multiple births (twins, triplets etc.) who are over 32 weeks into their pregnancy, to travel. For this reason, outbound and inbound journeys must be completed before the end of the 32nd week of pregnancy. We recommend you read our General Rules section for more information.

To confirm that you are fit to travel during pregnancy, you must provide a health report from a doctor, dated not more than 7 days before the flight date, and which includes the phrase, 'There is no particular reason for the patient not to travel by air'. If there is a reasonable doubt over the estimated birth date given to us, or if a passenger travelling during a complicated pregnancy does not provide a health report, the passenger must sign Indemnity Form no. F-GO-025. If passengers travelling during pregnancy do not comply with Pegasus Airlines carriage rules, Pegasus Airlines cannot be held responsible for any detrimental effects of the journey. Passengers are solely responsible for any health consequences resulting from air travel.
