About the Airport
Commonly referred to as Orly, the international airport is located 13 kilometres south of Paris. The complex is situated partially in Villeneuve-le-Roi and partially in Orly. Before the opening of Charles de Gaulle Airport in 1974, Paris Orly Airport was the main airport of the French capital.

Used for military service during the Second World War, the airport has been renovated and new terminals were built over the years. The airport has been serving since 1955. It has domestic and international terminals. It is restructured in 2006 and it has a capacity of 20 million passengers.
