Management of Pegasus Airlines is committed to continuously verify what has been achieved regarding Information Security, Quality, Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety. The implementation of this policy is also a commitment of management and a shared responsibility with our employees. We strive to achieve our commitment through the following guiding principles:
We believe that Safety Management System can only be obtained with the participation of all employees. All levels of management and all employees are accountable for the delivering of this highest level of safety performance, starting with the CEO.

Support the management of safety with the provision of all appropriate resources that will result in an organizational culture that fosters safe practices, encourages effective safety reporting and communication.
Encourage the management of safety as a primary responsibility of all managers and employees.
Clearly define for all staff including managers and employees, their accountabilities and responsibilities for the delivery of the organization’s safety performance and the performance of the safety management system.
Establish and operate hazard identification and risk management processes, including a hazard reporting system, in order to eliminate or mitigate the safety risks of the consequences of hazards.
Implement “Just Culture” and ensure that no action will be taken against any employee who discloses safety concern through the hazard reporting system, unless such disclosure indicates, beyond any reasonable doubt, an illegal act, gross negligence, or a deliberate or wilful disregard of regulations or procedures which are considered as unacceptable behaviours. Apart from these unacceptable acts, disciplinary action would not apply.
Comply with and, wherever possible, exceed, legislative and regulatory requirements and standards.
Ensure that sufficient skilled and trained Pegasus employees are available to implement safety strategies and processes.
Ensure the effective implementation of Human Factor Principles into operational practices.
Establish and measure our safety performance against realistic safety performance indicators and safety performance targets.
Ensure externally supplied systems and services to support our operations are delivered meeting our safety performance standards.
Publish procedures, assign responsibilities and provide necessary authorization and equipment to ensure a coordinated execution of the corporate Emergency Response Plan.
Carry out implementing and monitoring activities within the scope of identifying fatigue hazards, determining and assessing fatigue risks, promoting fatigue reporting and analysis processes in order to maintain the company safety performance by managing the fatigue effect of flight duties on the flight crews.
Continuously improve our safety performance.
By attributing utmost importance to safe conduct of airline operations, Pegasus Airlines, throughout the training process, strictly adheres to national and international rules, regulations and the fully compliant company procedures. Pegasus Airlines commits to invest all necessary resources in training of flightcrew and supporting branches in a fashion not to compromise effectiveness and efficiency in training. In order to meet the training needs, the company utilizes all available resources by optimum management of actual training capabilities. Nevertheless, some of trainings may be outsourced, but without compromising Pegasus training standards.
While performing in-house trainings, our Approved Training Organisation (ATO) ensures that all of our pilots are trained to the highest European industry and efficiency standards. All phases of outsourced trainings are closely monitored for the same reasons. In order to safeguard the recruitment of appropriately qualified pilots in the future, Pegasus establishes training partnerships with universities and flight schools while developing joint training projects. As part of its commitment of delivering effective training, Pegasus continuously seeks new training methods and implements the latest training concepts that will improve effectiveness and quality of current training system.
We are committed to continually improve our quality management system in our passenger and cargo air transportation activities by providing secure, safe flight operation and service conditions, increasing guest satisfaction, acting in compliance with compulsory aviation laws, regulations, standards and procedures, supporting our strategic objectives together with human factors in accordance with purpose and context.

operations of our company as well as the security of Pegasus family members and guests.

• In order to ensure effectiveness of Security Management System, financial, human, material,
equipment, training and all other necessary resources are provided by senior management.
• All security processes in our operations are performed in line with the national and international regulations.
• Security culture is promoted by improving security awareness of our family members and
suppliers by means of security trainings and notifications.
• Our objective is to prevent unlawful acts, as well as to identify, evaluate and mitigate operational threats to Pegasus Airlines.
• Pegasus Airlines ensures and requires that the qualifications and trainings of sub-contractor
employees who performs security functions comply with the requirements of related national,
international and Pegasus Airlines regulations.
• Internal security reporting system is a fundamental part of security management system and all employees shall be aware of its importance and participate in it by reporting about security
issues.
• Security objectives are determined by our senior management. In order to achieve these goals, security performance standards are set, monitored and actions are taken if necessary.
• For continuous improvement of Security Management System, all necessary security practices and processes are performed and supported by senior management.
• Pegasus Airlines Security Management ensures periodic review of the security policy to ensure continuing relevance to the organization and to the National Civil Aviation Security Program. Policy is revised if necessary.
