24th December: Christmas Eve and 25th to 26th December: Christmas Day- The celebration of Christmas in Austria is very similar to Germany. Presents are given on Christmas Eve. The food is quite simple on that evening, while it becomes more opulent in the following two days. Then a goose or carp is served.

31st December: New Year’s Eve – The Austrians celebrate the last day of the year with several parties all across the country. The largest one takes place in Vienna.

FM4 Frequency – This festival in St. Polten offers a wide range of music on seven stages. It is one of the most popular festivals in Austria.
